Heather Watson took the talented Dane [7] Clara Tauson to three sets in Tenerife (WTA 250) – 4-6, 6-2, 6-7.

Mikael Ymer was in Moscow for the Kremlin Cup (ATP 250) – fell to Tommy Paul in straights, but it was tight – 6-7, 5-7.

Frances Tiafoe took on former World No 1 Andy Murray for the third time in two seasons. Wildcard Murray came out on top in three tiebreak sets. Ended up being the longest three-set match of the year – 3hrs, 45mins. Both spent a long time chatting in the locker room afterwards.

Erste Bank Open Vienna (ATP 500)

Felix Auger-Aliassime, seeded sixth, starts against the in-form Ricardas Berankis.

Gael Monfils opens against Lorenzo Musetti.

Tiafoe, who came through qualifying, was yet to be placed.

Auger-Aliassime is also playing doubles with German Andreas Mies. They start against Brits Dan Evans and Neal Skupski.

Courmayeur Ladies Open (WTA 250)

Jasmine Paolini opens against a qualifier. Could face top seed Ons Jabeur in the quarter-finals.
